Jon Layton prides himself on his reputation for exceeding his clients’ expectations. He began his real estate career in 2006 in Pearland, Texas, where he immersed himself in the industry. After decades of winning in various market conditions and completing hundreds of hours of continuing education and training, Jon has molded himself into an accomplished professional with a genuine passion for improving people’s lives.

As a Certified Home Selling Advisor, Certified Home Buyer Advisor, and a member of the National Association of Expert Advisors, Jon understands the importance of having a strong advocate and willing educator throughout the process. That’s why, in addition to his real estate license, Jon maintains a mortgage loan officer license. From investors and retirees to REOs, short sales, bank-owned assets, and new construction, Jon’s industry knowledge, transparency, and elevated services are sure to triumph every time.

Jon is a down-to-earth, candid professional who is known for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with those around him. His previous experience found him success at GMAC and Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing as an REO asset manager. He managed a portfolio totaling $150 million in yearly inventory and was in charge of a nationwide broker network of over 150 professionals. He also perfected client risk and property condition analysis strategies — among many other industry-relevant skills. In 12 years, Jon consistently surpassed sales and metrics goals as he helped over 7,000 clients achieve their dreams of purchasing a home. He continues to work with several REO asset management companies, and can be found in these platforms: Equator, Pyramid, Res.net, and Exceleras.

Born in Galveston, Texas, and raised nearby in Friendswood, Jon’s Texas roots are deep, rivaled only by the depth of his real estate roots: Since childhood, he has been inspired by his grandmother, who was one of the first woman brokers on Galveston Island. Away from real estate, Jon enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jaime, and his young daughter, Remi.
